useSubmitFeedback() reports a missing provider

Render the component under SubmitFlowProvider. In Next.js, the provider wrapper needs 'use client'; render that wrapper from the server layout.

A confirmation action stays busy

The flow remains busy while its confirmation is open and while its async action is still settling after cancellation. Pass the supplied signal to abort-aware work and call throwIfCancelled() between sequential side effects.

A success or error toast appears unexpectedly

Set feedback: 'inline' or feedback: 'none' on the action, or provide notification adapters. A retained dialog presents its own pending/error state even when separate result notifications are disabled.

The action reports success for an HTTP error

fetch() resolves for HTTP 4xx and 5xx. Check response.ok and throw or return a typed domain result from the action.

A custom confirmation adapter cannot show pending/error states

Use a retained-session adapter when an action sets closeOnConfirm: false. The ordinary confirm adapter only supplies a yes/no decision.
